1. How to derive relationship between Centigrade and Fahrenheit? Start with  y = mx + b and you have 2 points (0,32) and (100,212).

2. Why mercury isn't allowed in airplanes?

3. Why is there a "kink" in mercury thermometers?

4. Clinical thermometers have a kink to prevent mercury from going back. Can I use the same thermometer design with alcohol? Will it work?

5. What will happen if the inner walls of the thermos don't have the reflective coating?

6. A heater with reflector design to direct heat to a certain area.
