Epiglottis, Esophagus, Trachea co-ordination during swallowing and breathing video.

Humans(and other animals) have evolved to have the trachea in front and esophagus at the back. Is this a good thing? Why? What would happen if they exchange their places, i.e. the trachea in back and esophagus at front?

Why is right lung bigger than the left one? Since the left one has to give space to heart.
